Remaking Sonja

A few days ago I, I finished up an article about finding inspiration, and since then I've had a new energy for crochet. I'm not exactly sure why — I have all the same projects on my docket — but I'm actually to make them now and I want to go through everything. I've also had a distinct new energy for the new Sonja, a top I intended to remake to finish up a pattern from 2022. It's historically been an unpleasant experience to work on it and not due to difficulty or project time. Today, however, I went to work on the navy tank top after writing about the woollen headband, but I genuinely can't stop thinking about this project. So alas, here we are, remaking Sonja.

Yesterday, I was able to work up the first eight rows throughout the evening.

Between yesterday and today, I've finished the first skein, just reaching the high waist point.
