My favourite ways to make persistent memories

  1. Telling someone I love them and feeling embarrassed immediately afterwards
    1. It's only shame, who cares
  2. Crocheting with engaging media playing around me
    1. There are days I don't remember until I pick up the piece I crocheted. Then I hear it, I see everything.
  3. Painting with engaging media playing around me and using instincts in my work
    1. It's really something to pick a piece of paper and have it all immediately come back to you, every feeling
  4. Connecting and feeling and sharing in human emotions
    1. I like when the memory has a face. When it feels like film and wet paint and it even has a voice. It kind of ripples and 'brilla's at me. It shines and it fades.
  5. I like when I tell you things. I like, in the middle of the night, when words take me. I like when I leave while it's still dark and no one knows a thing.
