Monster [Scrapped]

I've been wanting to make some monsters for a little while. In fact, I should probably add them to my wishlist, but I've gone ahead and started one today.

This project has been scrapped.

Notes on the technique used for the start:

Chain 11 + 2 turning.

Work in the round with center 7 stitches on each side.

Form cones with the end 2 chains on either side by working 5 dc into the ends before continuing the round.

For the first round work sc in center 7 on both sides to balance height.

For the second round work fphdc in center 7 on both sides while working fpdc or fpedc around cones to continue balancing height. This may be necessary for a third round.

Once it's evened out, continue straight with fpdc.

This is a public note. It is not a pattern. This documentation of my process has been made public with little clarification in case there is anything to be learned.
