Ciao belli.
Adesso in español.
Oggi— scusa.
Today, I complete a Busuu chapter in español (capitolo 5) e ho studiato— oh my god, scusa, I studied from my new deck of the 1000 most common words en español. I set the deck to be reversed (doubling the number to 2000) and studied 200 cards (100 palabras).
While doing Busuu, I also wrote this little paragraph based on a reading and listening exercise I was given:
¡Hola! Me llamo [ a being ] y soy estadounidense.
I will do generally the same thing I did with Italian with Spanish. That means from this point on, I will write something here everyday, I will use my Spanish, no matter how litte, when I don't know how to say something or I'm unsure of what I'm writing, I will put it in italics, and I will alternate with English. I'm thinking of having the rule I ended with where everything was in Italian and I looked words up if I didn't know how to write them or how to communicate what I was thinking, but for now, I'll just do English. With time, we'll get there. As much as I'm fond of Italian, there's enough confusion between the languages already, so English will represent a good boundary; it will help me keep things separated.
That's all I have to say for now, besides, I'm really looking forward to this and I'm already enjoying it.
Talk to you tomorrow.
