Ciao ciao belli, come va ;).
Oggi was an incredible day. I'm having a time with Spanish. Consumption consisted of Insiders on Netflix (started it yesterday) followed by La Ley of the Selva (I just stopped the show mostly through the finale of the first season— I'll finish it tomorrow).
I'm having the greatest time, it's amazing how I've turned around with Spanish. I feel I have a lot to say that I may not be able to fully encompass here, but I'll at least mention notes on process: I watched Insiders in Spanish [Spain] with English subtitles and the started rewatching with Italian subtitles; I'll be doing the same with La Ley of the Selva.
Yesterday, watching YouTube, while I understood a lot of what was said (likely related to picking videos in a familiar niche), it was clear there was much I did not understand. Almost to a peculiar point because I had thought I'd remembered comprehending more of Spanish due to Italian. I also thought the first person from whom I was watching videos was Spanish, based on a belief I had about Spanish variations and the use of the tongue between the teeth. That was until I clicked on the next video I'd wanted to watch from another person and went Oh no, never mind, * she's * Spanish. There's no confusing them. As soon as I heard it, I knew. I also immediately noticed I understood a lot more of what she said and there was a more frequent occurrence of cognates with Italian.
It is quite late, so I won't say too much but I'll share a recall of a thought I had last night. [22:02:30.]

I don't know why I was so afraid of Spanish. There's nothing to be afraid of. Fear doesn't exist. They all support each other because they're all language. They're all human speaking, human communicating, human telling a story, human telling the truth. They all make sense with their sense and support each other. A reasoning system self-coordinates entirely and they are all fundamentally the same system. They are all language. I understand them naturally. I understand them inherently. Of course I do. Because language. Because human. They're all the same.
