Green Thing
Hi hi hi.
I made a thing.
I'm very pleased.
Okay, so it started with a video I saw on the internet. Whoever made the video wrote comment x under this video and I'll send you the recipe. I commented. I did not receive a recipe. I thought, very well. I'll figure it out myself. And I did. :).
What I knew going in:
- "Roasted" kale, zucchini, and spinach
- Tofu
- Pistachios
- Blender
- Basil
- Butter Beans (Cannellini)
- Garnishing of some kind that consisted of a white cream, red oil, pistachios, and green leaves
I started with roasting and figured it out from there. I also wrote everything down and kept a sheet updated. Now I can organise it all for replication.
Like I said, I started with roasting. I apparently used 77 grams of curly [Red Russian?] kale, 202 grams of zucchini, and 66 grams of baby spinach. I coated these with 3 capfuls of avocado oil and set them to roast at 400 degrees fahrenheit. While I put them in the same try, they needed different amounts of time. I took each out as they seemed finished.
You may notice two cloves of garlic in the mix, but I took these out and decided on roasting a whole bulb instead. I didn't know how much I wanted to use, but I figured I could add cloves little by little and save the rest for something else.
You'll see the bulb here. This was as I was returning to take out the kale.
While the zucchini finished, I started prepping basil.
As I write now, I'm remembering the video showed fresh basil, but I wanted to blanch it. I was partially just going with what I would do for pesto, so blanching it seemed right.
It's been quite a while, but I'd like to finish this.
After blanching the basil, I blended everything: the kale, zucchini, spinach, garlic, and basil.
To be updated.
