A Dainty bookmark

I found this image on Pinterest and thought it rather beautiful, so I've begun a bookmark with my white fine crochet thread.

From what I could gather in the image, I needed a starting chain with a multiple of 5 + 1.

The general pattern that repeats is {edc bobble, ch 2, 3-pic0t, ch 2, edc bobble}, skip 4, *{edc bobble, ch 2, 3-pic0t, ch 2, edc bobble}, skip 4*. These bobbles are made of 4 posts instead of 5.

When I reach the end, the final 5 chains, I'll likely double crochet in the end, ch 2 to the end, sc, turn the corner and repeat the first row. It should be noted, to start, I chained 2 and double crocheted in the first chain.

I completed the ends as imagined and rounded the corners with 3 single crochets. I also restarted at some point setting the repeat pattern to sets of 6 stitches instead of 5. It was curling quite a bit with 5. Luckily, I already had a multiple of 6 + 1.

This is a public note. It is not a pattern. This documentation of my process has been made public with little clarification in case there is anything to be learned.
